STUDIO PRODUCTION: VT COMPLETION & REVIEW

Before the next rehearsal, Me, George and the Producers reviewed all the VT's ready for the rehearsal.

Title Sequence
The title sequence for the opening of the show is a comical and lively sequence. Like the trailer, it has one of the Presenters 'Stealing' their style (messing with the shows name) and then we see both the Presenters walking down a corridor and then into the TV Studios. The idea for this is we mix from the title sequence and into the studio where we would see the Presenters enter the set through the catwalk.

The title sequence works perfectly for the programme. You've instantly got some comedy with the Presenters taking the mannequin and then being in the lift with the cheesy and classic lift music in there. Tone and style is right and at the end with the logo coming up we can easily mix into the show.

Coming up

VT also produced the 'Coming up' teaser for the programme. The graphics are simple and it explains everything that's coming up in the programme. The colour scheme matches with the logo, graphics, lower thirds and stings as well.

Presenter Challenge (VT 1)

After the edits were made to the Presenter challenge VT... The VT is really lively, fun and enjoyable to watch. Audio is nice and clear and we don't get to see the outfit that Alfie gets Adeline until the reveal in the studios which works much better as it keeps it as a surprise for the audience and the viewers watching the programme. Music works to keep up the tone and the sped up footage works to keep the pace nice and speedy but also keeping it nice to watch as well.

Fashion Fails (VT 2)

I was apprehensive would be successful due to the adding in of the expert and the difference from the other VTs (as its very information heavy) However, I feel this works really well. You've got the case study of the individual who had the fashion fail and then we hear from an experts opinion how it can be resolved or avoided in the future which is what the audience would want to know.

Old to New (VT 3)

This is the first VT for my half of the show and also my personal favourite. It's the only VT with no dialogue and frankly it isn't needed. The VT is shot and structured perfectly. All the titles are relevant to the era of Fashion being discussed. Keeping with the style of graphics showing the Price of clothes and where they were bought from. The grading for each section works to show the era they are from as well and the style of having it as a photoshoot works in relevance as to why the models are doing all this as well.

DIY (VT 4)

Bonnie's introduction through the VT works perfectly for the show. The VT introduces and explains herself and her business as well as giving a bit of back story. The setting for the VT really shows her character, bright and colourful which she is and it will come accross even more in the Interview after the VT. As well as showing her making a top which she has confirmed, she will be wearing for the interview on the TX Day.
